Objective of Donorroom.com
It is not the intention of Donorroom.com to persuade the public to donate, but rather to provide enough information so the public can make their own choice whether to donate or not. Our objective is to provide a central website that provides an educational resource regarding all aspects of medical donations.

Public knowledge
Most of the general public need more education about donations to make informed decisions regarding themselves or their loved ones.

Usually, the information comes at the time of death of a loved one when the family is not ready to learn about their options.

Public donations
Much of the needed donations are not available when needed because potential donors

• are unaware of the process, or
• fear the outcome, or
• do not have time to consider their beliefs about donation

Donor organizations
Most of the donor organizations have websites where this information is offered, however, they generally focus only on their own resources (blood, organs or tissue) and they are not marketed to the general public well enough to generate interest.
